Unless otherwise stated, all content available through this website—including architectural plans, construction drawings, floor plans, elevations, details, CAD files, renderings, images, graphics, text, calculators, logos, product descriptions, and downloadable files—is owned by or licensed to Build Blueprint and is protected by United States and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual-property laws.

No website content or purchased product may be copied, reproduced, republished, uploaded, distributed, resold, sublicensed, shared, or commercially exploited except as expressly permitted by our Terms of Service or with our prior written permission.

PURCHASED PLAN LICENSE

Purchasing a plan grants the original purchaser a limited license to use that plan to construct one structure, unless the product description or a separate written agreement expressly permits additional builds.

Purchasing a plan does not transfer its copyright or ownership. Plans may be shared with contractors, architects, engineers, building officials, and other professionals only as necessary for the authorized project. Those recipients may not reuse, resell, distribute, or retain the plans for unrelated projects.

Additional licenses are required to construct the design more than once or use it for production, speculative, tract, or multiple-project construction.

Unauthorized copying, distribution, plan sharing, resale, or construction may constitute copyright infringement and breach of contract.

ARCHITECTURAL AND PROFESSIONAL DISCLAIMER

Build Blueprint provides pre-designed digital architectural and construction plans, planning resources, calculators, and related information. Unless expressly stated in a separate written agreement, Build Blueprint does not act as the purchaser’s architect, engineer, contractor, building official, or other licensed project professional.

Purchasing or using a plan does not create an architect-client, engineer-client, contractor-client, fiduciary, or other professional relationship.

Building codes, zoning regulations, energy requirements, structural loads, climate conditions, permit procedures, and professional-stamping requirements vary by location and change over time. Plans must be reviewed and, when necessary, modified, signed, sealed, or supplemented by appropriately licensed professionals familiar with the project location and site conditions.

PERMITS AND LOCAL REQUIREMENTS

References to plans as “permit ready,” “code compliant,” designed for a particular state, or prepared according to identified building standards do not guarantee approval by a building department or other authority.

The purchaser is responsible for confirming all local requirements and obtaining any required permits, approvals, surveys, engineering, calculations, professional seals, site plans, energy documentation, and inspections before construction.

Local authorities have sole discretion to determine whether submitted documents satisfy their requirements.

SITE AND CONSTRUCTION RESPONSIBILITY

Unless expressly identified as site-specific in writing, plans do not account for the purchaser’s particular soil conditions, frost depth, groundwater, topography, wind loads, snow loads, seismic conditions, flood risks, wildfire requirements, utilities, easements, or other property-specific conditions.

The purchaser, contractor, and licensed professionals are responsible for verifying dimensions, structural requirements, materials, quantities, site conditions, constructability, trade coordination, code compliance, construction methods, temporary bracing, and job-site safety.

Any discrepancy, error, omission, or uncertainty must be resolved with a qualified professional before ordering materials or beginning the affected work.

PLAN MODIFICATIONS

Plans may require modifications to satisfy local requirements or the purchaser’s project needs. Build Blueprint is not responsible for modifications made by purchasers, contractors, design professionals, or other third parties.

The person or professional making or approving a modification is responsible for the modified design, including its accuracy, coordination, structural performance, code compliance, and suitability for the project.

ESTIMATES AND CALCULATORS

Construction-cost estimates, material lists, square-footage figures, calculators, and other planning resources are provided for general informational purposes only. They are not bids, guarantees, engineering calculations, or substitutes for project-specific professional advice.

Actual quantities and costs may vary due to location, market prices, labor, waste, taxes, site conditions, design changes, construction practices, and local requirements. Users must independently verify all information before purchasing materials, obtaining financing, signing contracts, or beginning construction.
