The 20' x 24' Lean Cottage is the smallest plan in the Lean series — 480 square feet with one bedroom, one bathroom, and a loft, under the clean contemporary shed roofline that defines this collection. Despite its compact footprint, the 125 PSF roof load rating makes this one of the most structurally capable small cabins in our entire catalog — engineered for serious snow accumulation in alpine, northern, and high-elevation locations where lesser-rated designs become a liability.
Ceiling heights ranging from 8 to 13 feet give the interior more volume than the square footage suggests. The concrete piers, slab, or crawlspace foundation options cover a wide range of site conditions.
